He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Douglas and Alma Douglas (Smith); his son Stephen B. Douglas; and his grandson Thomas Searles. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale of Connecticut, Donna Tripp of Norway, Alfred of Windham and Blaine of Brunswick; his children, Warren of Cornish, Christopher of Washington, Jeffrey of Mendoza, James of Cornish, Patricia Searles of Saco and Kevin of Saco; and his spouse Betty-Jane Temm (Grant).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorials are donated to the North Scarborough, Maine State Grange, or Future Farmers of America.
