She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth F. Koons and Helen M. Koons (Salansky); her husband Warren Swetz; her stepdaughter Katharine Murphy (Raymond) of Stafford Springs, CT; her brother John Koons (Susan Kandelin) of Oak Park, CA; and her nephews, Eric and Neil Koons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harvest Hills Animal Shelter of Fryeburg, where her beloved Maine Coon cat, Juliet, was adopted.
