He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Choate and Mavis Choate (Turner). He is survived by : his former life partner Diana Choate; and his children, Mary Dee Grant of New Harbor, Joanne Choate of New Harbor, Chris Choate (Randi) of Rockland, Michael Choate (Jennifer) of Liberty and Matthew Choate of Coopers Mills, ME. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
