It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wallace Roby of Wiscasset, Maine, who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Roby and Frances L. Roby (Wright); and his sister Doris Wray of Beltsville, MD.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy S. Roby of Wiscasset; his children, Mark S. Roby (Joan M.) of Warwick, RI, Gail M. Devereux (Jon W.) of Stafford, CT, Lynn A. Chapdelaine (David L.) of Coventry, CT and Jill E. Eisman (Darrin S.) of Golden, CO; his stepson Daniel Brown of Bar Harbor, ME; and his sister Joy Fincke of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (28 High St, Wiscasset, ME 04578). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
