He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hagerthy of Woolwich; his children, Raymond "Raymie" Bishop, Jr. of Lisbon Falls, Jay Bishop of Phippsburg, Jeffrey Bishop, Sr. of Lisbon Falls, Shane Bishop of Dallas and Jody Durisko (Matthew) of Lisbon Falls; and his stepchildren, Sue Whittaker Cressey (Kelvin) of Bath and Albert Hagerthy (Michelle) of Woolwich. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
