He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his children, Jennifer L. (Andy Rice), Carolyn Main Brigham, Holly B. (Jody Lowe), Richard L. Bisson, Jr. (Laurie Bisson) and Joseph F. (Tamara Lilly); his grandchildren, Matthew, Alicia Rice, Jonathan, Kristen Rice, Prudence, Roger Keissling, R. Lucien Bisson III, Kristen Bisson, Heather E., Charlie Fear, Jaime B., Tyler Plourde, W. Benjamin, Marianna Bisson, Juliette B. and Aaron Boyington; and his brother Francis J. (Patricia Bisson). He is also survived by his 16 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Daigle Funeral Home (819 High St, Bath, ME 04530). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (144 Lincoln St, Bath, ME 04530).
