He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Murphy and Maureen Murphy (Clancy); and his son John Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Chris Murphy of Woolwich; his son James Murphy of Biddeford; and his siblings, John Murphy, Ronald Murphy, Pat Murphy, Bonnie Morton and Brenda Reed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
