He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hollis A. Hanington Jr., Irma LeBlond Hanington and Blaine Pratt (Shadow); his nephew Caden; and his aunt Sharon Hanington Sibley.
He is survived by: his parents, Scott Hanington and Laurie Hanington (Pratt) of Wytopitock; his son Jaxsyn of Houlton; his stepdaughter Emma Fitzgerald of Herman; his brother Alex Blaine Hanington (Sarah Stoddard); his nephews, Cameron and Jamesyn; his niece Lexi; his close friend Vann White of Wytopitlock; his grandmother Sherry Pratt of Danforth; and also Sonya Rouse of Houlton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be sent in Michael's memory to Scott Hanington at P.O Box 90, Wytopitlock, Maine 04497 for Jaxsyn's future education and athletic endeavors.
