He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie, Rachel, Julia and Annelise; his stepmother RuthAnn Ayers; his stepbrother Adam Ragel; his sisters, Claire Ayers, Sarah Ayers-Eck, Shayne Squires and Sherri Hiatt (Tom); and his nieces, Tori Osterhout and Amber Bloomberg.
