Robert M. Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 91, Robert M. Butler (Yarmouth, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Butler and Rachel MacNaughton Butler; his son Mark (Lori); his son-in-law Rick Madden; and his siblings-in-law, Lynne MacQuarrie and Donald MacQuarrie.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Elizabeth MacQuarrie Butler; his children, Karen, Susan (Arthur) and Stephen (Abigail); his grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah (Devon), Grace, Andrew (Allie), Jacob (Sara), Zachary, Robert and Brigid; and his siblings-in-law, Donna MacQuarrie, Glen MacQuarrie (Donna Meredith) and Lanny MacQuarrie (Susan). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
