He was predeceased by : his parents, Emily Clarke Neary and Martin John Neary; his wife Ann DeStafano Neary of Malden, MA; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Judy of York Beach, ME, Frederick L. Neary of West Medford, MA, Martin John Neary, Edward J. of Brighton, William C. Neary of York Beach and Robert J. Neary of York Beach. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

“Awww, I purchased a beautiful pair of oil on board paintings by his brother Robert which I was trying to find more of and I can’t. (mine are a mercury and grey color) I was hoping to contact a family member to ask if any of Roberts paintings are available but I see that they have all passed away. So sorry. He was a wonderful person by the sound of it. Ironic he just recently passed. I hung Roberts pictures in my new second home over Christmas. Probably the same day Donald died.”
