He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Phipps and Helen Phipps (Coates) of Gary; his siblings, Cheryl Burrows (Phipps) and Terry Phipps; and his pet Shadow.
He is survived by: his sister Sandie Phipps (Brian Donovan); his children, Jonathan Phipps (Alisha (Lewis) Phipps), Erica Mirick (Phipps) and Gregory Phipps (Ashley (Brown) Phipps); his grandchildren, Henry, Winsor Mirick, Sawyer, Hartley, Bradley and Mason Phipps; his former wife Carol Phipps (Kenney); and his son-in-law Jeremy Mirick.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 5 Axholme Rd, York, ME 03909.
