She was predeceased by: her father Rauol Charland. She is survived by: her mother Flora Charland (Lavigne); her sisters, Annette, Edna and Aline; her husband Joseph M. L. Leroux; her children, Dan, Annette, Richard, Denise, Therese and Leo; and her aunt Memere.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Maine Right to Life in Rita's memory.
