She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ammon and Evelyn Ammon; her brothers, Wayne Ammon and Glenn Ammon; her mother-in-law Helen Kriekard; and her sister-in-law Sue Kriekard.
She is survived by: her husband Ned Kriekard; her children, Beth Mattingly, Glenna Mindling (John) and Brian Kriekard (Pam); her grandchildren, Samantha Mattingly, Anna Mindling, Emily Mindling, Rebecca Nelson (Timothy), Jackson Mindling, Noah Kriekard, Gretta Kriekard and Jonah Kriekard; and her sisters, Delores Greig, Gloria Van Dyk, Jan Highhouse and Ruth Hendricks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous dearly loved friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church (6655 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rosedale Memorial Park (50 Lake Michigan Dr, Grand Rapids, MI 49544).
