She was predeceased by: her husband Henry "Hank" Slomski; her great grandchild Ethan Seitz; her parents, Edgar Land and Bessie Land; and her siblings, John Land (Nancy), Edgar Jr. Land (Norma Jean), Frank Land (Jean), Everett Land (Janice), Ute Land, Agnes Sula, Marie Land and Helen Belcher (Roscoe).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Slomski (Stacy), Rose Bandeen (Robert), Thomas Slomski and Karen Coe (Robert Jr.); her grandchildren, Matthew Slomski (Rachel), Allison Seitz (Nathan), Sarah Brownell (Jeffery), Jennifer Bandeen, Joseph Slomski, Andrew Slomski (Alayna), Ryan Coe (Shale) and Alyssa Coe; her great grandchildren, Liam, Emmett Coe, Lincoln and Elroy Slomski; and her siblings, Roy Land and Frances Hicks (Donnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Basilica of St. Adalbert Catholic Church (654 Davis Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Basilica of Saint Adalbert.
