He was predeceased by: his mother Lura Strouse (Potter); his daughter Stephanie Strouse; and his siblings, Kay Menzel, Joy Shattuck and Ray Strouse.
He is survived by: his father Vernon Strouse; his wife Sharon "Sherry" Strouse; and his children, Eric Strouse, Shelly Vallee (Alan), Roy, Lisa Suttorp (Ken) and Casey Lewis Shaw (Mike). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
