He is survived by: his wife AnnMarie Soules Smith; his sons, Paul, Jared, Jordan Smith, Kieran and Kendal Kelley; his grandchildren, Jaden, Brooklyn and Payton; and his sister Robin Miller (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Matt's memory to Gift of Life Michigan.
