He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie T. Bodley and Margaret Ann Bodley (Becker); his sisters, Shirley Gamble and Susan Phillips; his in-laws, Lenni (Al) and Ann Voutila; and his pets, Clancy, Teddy, Coco, Paddy and Cassie.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Carpenter Bodley; his children, David Bodley (Michelle Brinker-Bodley) and Dr. Lisa Sprague (Aaron); his stepchildren, Dr. Chris Carpenter (Panechanh), Stephanie Thornton (Craig) and Jon Carpenter (Becky); his grandchildren, Grant, Chloe Sprague, Cameron, Kayla Carpenter, Lauren, Reagan, Emme Carpenter, Rhea and Jace Thornton; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Voutila Albrecht (Winston Prothro) and Kim Voutila (Dell Paielli).
