He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Blattner and Marianna Blattner; and his brothers, Tony, Ernie, Rudy and Franz "Frank" Blattner.
He is survived by: his wife Terry A. Blattner; his children, Robin DeLeeuw (Greg), Paul W. Blattner (Nancy), Franz Blattner (Tina), Heidi Brouwer (Tom) and Tony Blattner (Jill); his grandchildren, Rachel, John, Mellissa, Jennifer, Lauren, Paul, Jonathan, Tara, Eryn, Nick, Jordan, Haley, Brie, Nathan, Bethany and Collin; and his sister-in-law Donna Blattner. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
