He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stephen and Pearl Wilks (Hunter); his wife Betty Perry; his children, Robert Lee Wilks and Vonda Wilks; and his brothers, Elmo Mayberry, Arthur Mayberry and Calvin Wilks.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki England (Paul); his grandchildren, Jerod Wilks, Amanda Finkler (Jason), Loni Dau (Jonathan) and Arika Hindy (Bob); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Evan, Harper and Ryland; and his sister Arlene Moyers (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Homes (122 N Steer St, Addison, MI 49220). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery - Addison Junction.
