She was predeceased by : her father Edwin Clauda. She is survived by : her mother Janice Clauda (Slusher); her sons, Austin and Luke Zacharias; her siblings, Marc Clauda (Ann) and Joy Clauda; her grandson Hayden; and her fiancé Max Sielsky.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

We had so much fun going on trips with Joy or to good restaurants. I loved watching her with Luke and loved when she took him to furniture stores, since that's his favorite. I've recently been calling her to talk about holistic medicine and telling her about new things I've learned since we have common interests. I'll always love u”
