She was predeceased by: her father Guadalupe Valdez; and her grandmother Belen Montenegro. She is survived by: her daughter Guadalupe Valdez; her husband Jesus Ruiz Sr.; her children, Faith Alvarado (Mark) of Adrian, MI, Paul Ruiz (Ruby) of Toledo, OH and Jesse Ruiz of Adrian, MI; her grandchildren, Sierra, Jesus, Isiah, Eli, Deanna, Mark, Damian, Samuel, Gabriella, Grace, Genesis, John, Ezekiel, Skye, Benjamin and Jeremiah; her great grandchild Liliyanna; and her siblings, Connie Zarate (Thomas), Lolita Garica, Lupe, Abel Valdez (Gina), Jose Garcia (Esmeralda), Leo Feliciano (Lisa), Jose Feliciano (Emma) and Refugio Valdez.
