He is survived by: his sister Mildred of Alabama; his sons, Larry Stephens (Marlene) of Adrian and Denny Stephens (Linda) of Adrian; and his grandchildren, Michelle Michael Illenden (Todd) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Judah Stephens (Kristin) of Columbus, Ohio, Chad Stephens (Amanda) of Adrian and Aaron Stephens (Carri) of Ashland, Ohio.

Donation may be made in Carl's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
