He was predeceased by: his father Charles Ray; his former wife Karen Sterling; his wives, Lois Jane VanValkenburg and Mary (Gould); his mother Mary Echler (Cook); his stepfather Amos Echler; and his stepsister Charlene Kimble.
He is survived by: his brother Norman LeRoy Johnson; and his half-brother Carl R. Collins (Jan).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jasper Bible Church (8230 S Adrian Hwy, Jasper, MI 49248). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
