He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester and Alice Rickaby (Baker); his uncle Clyde Baker; his aunt Gweneth; and his siblings, Roy (Baker), Janet Anderson and John Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Tornow; his children, James Rickaby (Emma) of Adrian, Sharon A. Rickaby of Adrian and Mary Gautz of Adrian; his grandchildren, Christopher Gautz (Anna), Kyle Rickaby (Teri), Ryan Rickaby and Lynse Rickaby; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Olivia, Zayden, Ethan and Marissa.
