It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David W. Irwin of Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Ruben and Alice Irwin (Bachman). He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Johnson; and his children, Rebecca McCann (Michael) of Adrian, Michigan, Kevin Irwin (Christine) of Hutchinson, Kansas and Mark D. Irwin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:40 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to American Legion Post 71 in Lake Wales, FL or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
