She is survived by: her children, Theresa Thorkildsen, Patricia Mangus (Charles), Stephen Schmidt (Holliday), Mary Catherine Spencer, Karyn Giddens and James Schmidt (Maribeth); and her siblings, Raymond Smit (Donna), Richard Smit (Doloris) and Marjorie Hutchinson. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adrian, MI.
