He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lerch and Treva Lerch; his wife Barbara "Barb" Parkhurst Lerch; and his siblings, Richard, Ken Lerch and Cheryl.
He is survived by: his brother Tom Lerch (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Cheryl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post - Onsted (333 Connor St, Onsted, MI 49265).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SUDC Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. QR codes and donation envelopes will be available at the celebration of life.
