He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Lewis and Julia Lewis (Hill); his children, Victoria Sherwood, Michael Lewis and Deborah Lewis; his grandchildren, Kelli Lewis, Michael Lewis II, William Rosansky II and Jammi Dubois; and his siblings, Harold Lewis, Wilber Lewis, Norman Lewis and Mildred Lewis.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Frederic Knisel II (Sherry), Nicole Knisel Andries, Derrick Disheaux (Angelina), Robert Lewis (Jacqueline) and Godfrey Austin; his stepdaughter Kathleen Austin; and his nephew Stu Lewis. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
