He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Henry Whiting and Nannie Edith Whiting; his wife Gladys Whiting; and his siblings, David Whiting, Kenny Whiting, Robert Whiting (Bob), Mary Martin, Winna Evans, Edith Pierce, Hazel Fadness, Anna Leppanen, Betty Atkins and Helen Turner.
He is survived by: his brother Ernie Whiting; his daughter Karen Grant (James Grant); his granddaughter Jessica Grant; and his great grandchild Leo M. Goshop.
