With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Benschoter of Adrian, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Baker and Ethel Baker (Mayes); her son Jaime Benscoter; and her siblings, Janice Collins, Wayne Baker, Glen Baker and Richard Baker.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Laurie Black (James), Leeann Benschoter, Brian Benschoter and Nicholas Benschoter; her grandchildren, Brandon Benschoter (Sierra), Brittany Brown (Justin) and Kendra McCord; her great grandchildren, Calvin Benschoter and Braydon Benschoter; and her brothers, Terry Baker and Rance Baker (Judy).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Purse Funeral Home (2959 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
