She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bowen and Kathryn Bowen (Schultz); and her siblings, William Bowen, Judy Scharich and Sue Ann Pelham.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Heath (Roger) of Adrian, Bruce Vanderpool Jr. (Tammy) of Springport, Kevin Vanderpool (Wendy) of Hudson and Karen Messer (David) of Jerome; her grandchildren, Erica, Brandon Danille, Alicia, Kevin II (Katie), Jason (Mindy), Bruceson, Devon (Mary Margaret), Alex (Kiersten) and Jocelyn; and her great grandchildren, Bobby, Christiana, Gabrielle, Aiden, Kyler, Kevin III, Emerson, Beckett, Isaac and Asher. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in honor of Kathleen are suggested to benefit the Hospice of Lenawee or Sacred Heart School in Hudson.
