He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gruel and Gladys Gruel (Cochran). He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Gruel (Jennifer) and Alex Gruel; his grandsons, Harrison and Noah; and the mother of his children Margaret "Peggy" Gruel.
