He is survived by: his wife Mary Cole; his children, Larry Hawkins (Becky), Lorraine Kirk (Paul) and Linda Thompson; his sister Susie Knight (Charles); his grandchildren, Randi Sykes (Tyler), Brandi Hawkins, Scottie Thompson, Austin Kirk (Sarah) and Katie Thompson; his great grandchildren, Blake and Blair Sykes; and his extended family, Jimmy Smith, Keith Joyce and Charles Joyce.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
