He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Butts, and Esther Butts, Sr. (Hebb); and his sister Maryann. He is survived by: his wife Rona Lee Akers; his daughters, Lori Butts-Vogelbacher (Chuck Vogelbacher) and Kelly Loper; his stepchildren, Clen Bell (Sue) and Tammy Kitchen (Dave); and his siblings, Willis Butts, Jr. (Lila), Harold Butts (Gayle), David Butts (late Elizabeth), Willa Mae Miller (Gary), Dallas Butts, Ralph Butts (Sue) and Gerald Butts (Barb). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
