She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph DiGiovanni and Martha DiGiovanni (Tranchita); and her husband Robert Smith. She is survived by: her children, Donna Rondeau (Will) and Mark Smith (Laura); her grandchildren, Matthew Lastra (Haley), Brian Smith and Alison Smith; and her brother Joseph DiGiovanni.
Memorial contributions in honor of Maria are suggested to benefit Hospice of Lenawee.
