Meredith Marlene Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, at the age of 87, Meredith Marlene Sims of Adrian, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Hoffmeister and Evelyn Hoffmeister (Brant); her husband Cletus James Sims; her daughter Lora Thayer; her brother Douglas Hoffmeister; and her close friend Dale Reinhart.
She is survived by: her children, David Sims of Clinton, Lisa Wines of Charlotte, NC and Linda Burgett (Larry) of Adrian; her sister Sharlene Drake of Adrian; and her grandchildren, Justin, Kyle, Mandi, Adam, Rochelle, Meggan, Lance, Paige and Ryan. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian (3050 W Beecher Rd, Adrian, MI 49221).
