He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Gauna (Trevino); his father Jose Gauna Jr.; his brother Robert Gauna; and his grandparents, Jose Sr. and Alejandra Gauna.
He is survived by: his mother Francisca Gauna (Espinoza); his children, Christal Gauna, Lucas Gauna, Nastassia Gauna, Abel Gauna and Gino Gauna; his grandchildren, Romualdo "Joe", Analysia, A'nyah, Rozell, Dario, Justine, Jaelynn, Jayleana, Maiiya, Marvel and Maloni; and his siblings, Vito Gauna, Domingo Gauna (Amelia), Chrisanda Gauna, Yolanda Gauna and Rebecca Gauna. He is also survived by grandson; seven great grandchildren; one expected great grandchild.
