It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Lichtenwald of Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Leo and Irene Louise Lichtenwald (Kutzley); his siblings, Allan Lichtenwald and Vicki Lichtenwald; his grandson Andrew Lichtenwald; his nephews, Shane Kunkle, Adam Lichtenwald and Tony Higgins; his brother-in-law Billy Amos; and his stepfathers, Walter Jay Grau and Ed Figgins.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Jean Wilson; his children, Douglas Lichtenwald (Alecia) of Fayette, Andy Lichtenwald (Autumn) of Fayette and Sarah Asbury (JR) of Fayette; his siblings, David Lichtenwald (Becky) of Fayette, Kathy Amos of Fayette and Karen Bentley (Curtis) of Fayette; his grandchildren, Tori, Tara, Damon, Kruez, Jared, Justin, Alyssa, Aryn, Marcus and Jaelynn; his great grandchildren, Kembryl, Thane, Tatum and Paisley; and his sisters-in-law, Ella Lichtenwald of Cape Canaveral, FL, Charity Slyker (Mike) of Fayette, Val Sweigart (Dan) of Doraville, GA, Ivy Kunkle (Dewey) of Fayette, Angel Towers (David) of Camden, MI and Felicia Stockman (Bob) of Fayette.
