He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lindsey and Ella Lindsey (Parks); his wife Wilma Hyder; and his siblings, Ester Ward (Harlow), Floyd Lindsey (Kay) and Clark Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Double (Larry), Monica Richardson, Steve Lindsey and George Lindsey (Sherrie); and his nephew Mark Lindsey. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
