She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Crisovan and Adreath Holmes Crisovan; her husband George Day; her brother Michael Crisovan; and her grandparents, Mike, Anna Crisovan, Ed and Alice Holmes.

She is survived by : her children, Mel Herbert (Kim), Melany Chalker (Darryl) and Mechelle Mahnke (Mike); her grandchildren, Jerry Losee III (Erin), Mikayl Losee (Ashley), Cody Herbert (Leslie), Shawna Herbert, Sabrina Mahnke and Braeden Mahnke; her great grandchildren, Bryan, Alyssa, Nathan, Dane, Evan, Scott IV, Layla, Evena', Ellsworth, Aaleyah and Khalia; her siblings, Russ Crisovan (Debbie), Alice Wimple (Ken), Marion Clark (Steve) and Anna Miller (George); her sister-in-law Colleen Crisovan; and her goddaughter Krista Eyler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Saline (1200 N Ann Arbor St, Saline, MI 48176). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Discretionary Fund at First United Methodist Church in Eaton Rapids (where her daughter pastors) to help those struggling, or the Humane Society to help animals without a home. Keep Shirley's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
