We bid farewell to Sophia M. DeLaCruz of Adrian, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 22, 2024 at the age of 79. Sophia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Refugio Bill and Sofia DeLaCruz (Cortinas); her children, Teresa Maldonado and Rudy Guzman; and her siblings, Rufus DeLaCruz Jr., Andrea Flores and Christine DeLaCruz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Garcia (Chuck), Maria Guzman (Danielle) and Ruby Guzman; her grandchildren, Vincent, Clemente, Joaquin, Roberto, Hano, Christopher, Gabriel, Andres, Rebecca, Juan, Courtney, Joshua, Kennedy, Jaylynn and Santiago; and her sisters, Virginia Garcia and Susie DeLaCruz-Weichman. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
