He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ewald and Edith Ewald (Schuch); his parents-in-law, Ernest and Vermelda Fischer; and his siblings-in-law, Charlindia, Mark Kent, Steven Fischer and Bob Erb.
He is survived by: his wife Linnaea Fischer; his children, Stacie and Jack; his siblings, Joanne, Cindy (Bern Coppolino), Christine (Ken Moore), Lynn (Lynda Ewald), Jamie (Beth Ewald), Jody (Dale Smith) and Kyle (Tracy Ewald); and his siblings-in-law, Becky, Bill Faller, Cindy Jenkins, Susan, Neil Schumann, Lauri Fischer, Harvey, Kelli Fischer, Treasa Ross-Fischer and Pam Erb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ransford Funeral Home (538 S Beck St, Sebewaing, MI 48759). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
