He was predeceased by: his parents, Jetre Cope and Alice Cope (Peterman); his sister Desarae Garn; and his granddaughter Grace. He is survived by: his wife Mary Cope of Alanson; his children, Dana Weinberg (Nathan) of Harbor Springs, Aaron Cope (Sara) of Fruitport and Zachary Cope (Stephanie) of Alanson; his grandchildren, Juliet, Mason, Christopher, Elijah, Micah, Selah, Josiah, David and Jessica; his brother Rocco Cope (Becky) of Onaway; and his brother-in-law Greg Garn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
