We bid farewell to Valeria Rusnell of Alba, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2026 at the age of 83. Valeria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Olds and Virgie Olds (Shoup); her husband Larry Rusnell; and her siblings, Lloyd Olds, Clinton Olds, Donald Olds, Donna Kooistra and Cecile Woodward.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kellie McPhail (Kevin) of Bellaire and Karen Gates (Mitch) of Alba; her grandchildren, Derek Gates (Jayne) of Hastings, MI, Jeremy Gates (Meggan) of Gaylord, Kristen Russell (Corey) of Traverse City and Keegan McPhail (Beth) of Bellaire; her great grandchildren, Eva Gates, Jon Gates, Kaiden Gates, Jayden Gates, Bella Gates and Chet McPhail; and her sisters, Margaret Bock of Alba and Lois VonSoosten of Eastport. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
