The passing of David Warren McKinney Jr. of Albion, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 70. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David McKinney and Geraldine McKinney (Keifer); his stepfather Ed Blodgett; his father-in-law Bill Hurdelbrink; and his in-laws, Debbie, Jim Herwarth and David Hurdelbrink.
He is survived by: his wife Dagmar McKinney (Hurdelbrink); his children, Nichole Logan (John), David McKinney III, William McKinney (Katie) and Michele Mentink (Matt); his grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Kristen, Nick, Zack, Parker, Connor, Logan, Madison, Brody, Harper and Ellie; his siblings, Linda Lincoln (Dan), Rich McKinney, Rob McKinney (Tia), Joy Kinney (Brett), Dana Anderla (Terry), Dawn Hawks and Diana Siscoe (Bob); and his mother-in-law Dolores Manthei. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (100 Luther Blvd, Albion, MI 49224).
