It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Smoyer of Albion, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Smoyer and Welma Jane Smoyer; his former wife JoAnn; and his niece Jennifer. He is survived by: his wife Daisy; his son Hillary Paul (Jen); his granddaughter Dehlia; his stepdaughters, Cher, Chandra and Amy; his brother Randy Smoyer (Carolyn); his nieces, Jessica and Stephanie; and his extended family, Jonathon, Tiffany, Wyatt, Westen and Willow Wolf. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO 64037).
