It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Boehlke of Albion, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Sweet and Dorothy Sweet (Putnam); and her siblings, Jack Sweet, Jerry Sweet and Betty Webb.

She is survived by: her children, June Yates, Patty Kosky (Rick), Eugene Boehlke (Robin) and David Boehlke (Louise); her grandchildren, Larry Sharpe, Jenny Kosky (Rich Hordicki), Lindsey Boehlke, Kylan Boehlke, Corinna LaRoche (Nick) and Lea Rakistaba (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Amber Knoblett (Ross), Lorna Sharpe, Cary Sharpe (Sarah), Jacob Sharpe (Hannah), Madison Santiago (Brian), Matthew Record (Anna), Grace Rakistaba and Annabelle Rakistaba; and her great great grandchildren, Evelyn, Macee, Hazel, Theo, Malia, Michaela, Nova and Orson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
