He was predeceased by: his parents, James Negus and Cecelia Negus (Becker); his wife Lori J. Potter; his grandson Jonathon; and his brother James Negus.
He is survived by: his caregiver Lori; his children, Daniel Negus (Michelle), Julie Negus-Grimes, Amy Smith (Aren) and Jessi Negus-Weaver; his grandchildren, Trevor (Caitie), Jeremy, Isaac, Matthew, Beth, Destiny, Sara, Nevaeh and Noah; his great grandchildren, Alice and Charles; his siblings, Mike Negus, Phil Negus, Paul Negus (Robin) and Marilyn Lewis; his friend Stewart Winter; Wayne Weaver, Tommy and Joanne Hubbard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
