He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Mason and Martha Mason (Schumacher); and his daughter Kathy Hodges (Don). He is survived by: his sister Joanne; his wife Coral Lee; his daughters, Jeanie Whittle (Tom) of Galesburg, IL, Susie Engstrom (Mark) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Sandy Mason Rivera (Robert) of Medina, OH; his grandchildren, Brian Hodges (Betsi), Stephen Whittle (Kendra), Michael Whittle (Kyli), Gregory Whittle (Megan), Ben Whittle (Rachel), David Whittle (Sarah Leahy), Jonathan Whittle (Sydney Christine), Philip Engstrom, Marcus Engstrom, David Engstrom, Coral Ciupak and Barbara Ciupak; his great grandchildren, Clara Hodges, Harper, Margot, Winry, Luna, Sophia, Noah, Alex, Luke, Leo, Eli, Anthony and Milo Whittle; and his brother-in-law Dr. Walter Briney (Janie). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (100 Luther Blvd, Albion, MI 49224). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
